When the event never came together, they shared their reading journey on the church blog, and Wrangell Church made a quiet commitment: to mail a copy to anyone who asked. Not long after, Charlie and Dena stepped away from pastoral duties in Wrangell due to medical reasons, leaving that small promise in the congregation's hands.
